In an Our Time class we leap, bound, spring and swirl. We dance with brightly coloured scarves, chasing kites, blowing bubbles, riding trains, rolling steamrollers. We discover hopping kangaroos, stomping elephants, floating butterflies, crawling caterpillars… Little imaginations begin to come to life as we explore and develop the exciting concepts of high/low, fast/slow and stop/go using our bodies, our voices and simple instruments. Parents are able to join in with their child, encouraging and assisting activities, and then using the home materials share the delights with friends and family at home, in the kitchen, in the car and on holiday. The Kindermusik cd’s, activity book, story books and instrument all in a fun carry case provide continuous learning and stimulation, and are used throughout the whole term.
